CJ Guinand, MSPA, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant at Gershon Pain Specialists with clinical experience in emergency medicine, interventional radiology, and orthopedics. His approach focuses on helping patients reduce pain, improve function, and identify the underlying factors contributing to their symptoms, with an emphasis on interventional and physical treatment strategies rather than long-term medication whenever appropriate.
CJ was raised in Virginia Beach and earned his Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University. He continued his education at Mary Baldwin University, where he completed his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2020.
Having grown up in the area, CJ values the opportunity to care for patients in his hometown and give back to the Coastal Virginia communities.
Outside of medicine, CJ enjoys playing the drums, video games, spending time with his dog, trying new cuisines, and relaxing at the beach.
